It is gettin towards that time of the year when the gears start rollin & anticipation of the coming year's events is in the air !

Zone III is the host this year & the event is planned to be at "Darota's Hideaway" between Cobb & Highland, Wisconsin. In the southwest area of the state.

*** "THE DATE*** July 16th

Bench show 2:00 pm
Water race 4:00 pm
Feild trial 6:00 pm
Nite hunt 8:30 pm

We will be having a coon squallin contest & a treeing contest but we'll determin the time the day of the event.

Youth's hunt in age groups 5-12 & 13-17.

"Mr D's" is a beautiful place. Excellent hunting with plenty of coon,Excellent Feild trialin location, as nice of a "CLEAN" pond as you'll see & it's BIG. Has a sand beach area with a slide & places for those that would like'ta enjoy it. Has a forrest of large Oak's around the grounds for shade & some limited camping . A big county park by the name of "Blackhawk Lake",(Iowa county) that has excellent fishing,beach & ton's & ton's of camping that practically connects to the event grounds.

We are gona start excepting donations to help make this the best event we possably can. You can donate cash or supplies that can be used as awards & or raffle prizes & toward trophies which will be the kind we all like'ta win. Any, no matter how small or large will be greatly appreciated by the youth receiving them as well as BBOA & it's Zone III members so lets get this rollin,PLEASE ?

"Remember", It is for the youth & the youth only who are the future of our sport & those that carry on the legacy of the "Bluetick Coonhound" as well as the other breed's!

All breeeds welcome of course & happily invited to participate !

I have volunteered to accept donation's to hold till the event. Any personal checks need'ta be made out to "BBOA Zone III" & "VENDOR'S", we can use any & all help we can!

i have been at the drota hide away many times in the past as russ said the hunting is good in the area the pond is huge and has quite a few fish in it it self

Kevin, Donations towards prizes & trophies be best I think? I really don't wana get into the auction thing. But we will accept stud fee's as potential raffle prizes which the kids will pick themselves if they so desire with Ma & Pa's help hopefully so they may get the chance to utilize them.

I would prefer,because I'm computer dumb, That you send me like the copy of an add or something to that effect with the owners signature for authenticity.

The event will be 15 miles from me or so so I volunteered,kinda,to get this thread up & started with intention of Storin pink collars,neon green leashes & the likes. Money that is donated will go towards the hardware,which is gona be pretty nice, purchase of lites for hunt winners & the raffles. Wantin to hook up with a supplier or supplier's that would cut us a bit of a deal on huntin accessories so if anyone has someone in mind talk'ta me?

Every kid there is gona be a winner of multiple potential prizes !

BBOA Youth Nat'l Event"
Finally got the date worked out for the BBOA Nat'l youth event. Special thanks to Loretta at UKC for her help!

The date is July 16th. Highland,Wisconsin at the new Blackhawk area Coonhunters club. We will be havin a water race,Feild trial,bench show & the night hunt. Workin on donations with the help of several others.

I had put a thread on here earlier but it is off the map now I guess cuz I couldn't find it so here is the new version.

Again any & all donations are very much appreciated!

Will continue to keep this updated rite along now that we have it set in stone as details & donations emerge.

Thanks for finding this for me Troy, it is greatly appreciated. I can turn it on,find the three things I go into,spend two hours typin at times for one response,{wife can confirm that} & put it back into hibernation !

Parent's,grandparents,uncles,aunt's & mentor's, Check your schedules & make some plan's to visit Scenic Southwest Wisconsin in mid july. Some beautiful country to take a vacation in !

How 'bout some more thought on helpin the cause??

I know it's a ways off but I'll be jiggered if'n I'ma gona quit pushin it until it get's here. We "are" gona have us a good time !

Solely 100% for the youth hunters. We have a great team workin on this.Mr Robbie Brook's & family.. Todd Ackerman, Miss Vicky & myself as Chairman as well as other's along the way.

Plannin to visit the supply people heavily at the Reunion & Nat'l BBOA day's so here's your warning ... LOL !
