Favorite TV programs

Just wondered what all the rest of u coonhunters are watching on the rare nights you're not coonhunting. I very seldom watch tv, but when I do here's what I'm watching.

The only hunting shows I watch regularly are...

• Tailgate Adventures
• all gun shows on Outdoor & Sportsman Channels(Person Defense, Guns & Ammo, Cowboys...)

American Pickers
Pawn Stars
Hardcore pawn
Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy show
Ghost Adventures(idk y, but I love it! Ha)
Axe Men
American Restoration
all the Auction shows

Basically anything on the History Ch, Discovery Ch, or Food Network

yeah, I know Im prolly weird. Ha

Russell, We watch the exact same shows. I also ;like to watch the old reruns on TvLand and Old westerns.

The American Picker crew come to a friend of mines place while coming thru West Tennessee. We went by to watch them film, as we were just an hour away on Vacation in Nashville.

The show isn't "reality" at all.

They send a team out several days beforehand to look over items and pick out and "plant" items to be looked at. The sale price is negotiated beforehand as well. The travel in a huge travel bus like you see musicians and bands travel in towing their white van. They park a few blocks down the road and film the 2 guys driving the van up to the house. They will film for a while and then take a break. The little bearded fella is arrogant and not friendly at all. He was constantly complaining. The skinny guy was friendlier, but acted "highbrow" as well. I got a sense that the two guys didn't really get along with each other.

Sorry if I ruined it for ya. LOL!

You haven't ruined it for me. I've known that all those shows are faked ever since the 1st season of Pawn Stars. They had an episode where a guy brought in a civil war cannon. The guy trying to "sell" it was one of the re-inactors that the history channel uses in it's civil war programs. I knew it was prolly 90% BS.

Ive never met Frank(short, fat, bearded picker), but I'm a pretty decent judge of people and I felt like he would be a pure @$$-hole. I get sick of hearing him say "I'd feel more comfortable at $___." Just once I wanna hear somebody say, "Well, gee! I sure hate that ur uncomfortable, but u can pay $300 or don't let the door hit u in the @$$ on the way out!" lol

Looks like we all watch a lot of the same shows.

Thanks to DVR I don't miss an episode of Sons of Anarchy or Axe Men.

Also watch Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Gold Rush & etc. I'll watch some of these if I'm channel flipping.

If it wasn't for ESPN, Axe Men & Sons of Anarchy, I could live without TV.

Pretty much all the above but add Ice Road Trucker and the first season of IRT Deadliest Roads to it. Favorite documentary has been the Rumrunners, moonshiners, and bootleggers on History. Never made it, never ran it with no desire to do either but its history has always peaked my interest.

ICarly, Wizards of Waverly, Cartoons. Watch them with my 5 year old.

Ghost Hunters, Paranormal Society. My wife is into ghost hunting.

I don't pay a lot of attention to TV outside of baseball season. And, there's always ESPN.

I've watched more TV in the last month or so than I have in quite awhile, as it's been pretty cold here.

Usually I just flip through until something draws my attention, but did find a couple of shows that are really funny : The Big Bang Theory and $#@& My Father Says (with William Shattner). Those shows are hilarious!!!
