UKC it is time for a stud dog forum in the Coonhound Classifieds. My dog when from page 1 to page 8 in 24 hours. I would say 1/2 the ads are studs. 56 stud ads over 8 pages. I don't need to know that stud dog A is a sleep and stud dog B is eating good today and stud dog C feels good he woke up and took a big sh!t today. I would love to see a stud dog forum add it to the Classifieds. Thanks Tyler Vaden

Sounds like a good idea to me! It would be a lot easier to sift through all the studs without having to go through pups and dogs for sale as well...

There is also a Modification that can be added so that a thread starter can only bump a topic/thread once ever 12 hours. That would help.

This is a good idea, and I would like to add- could we get UKC to archive these ads? I am one of those with a stud ad that has a lot of "btt" and "top" in the thread. But I have carefully added many photos and testimonials and comments about this line of dogs. While I am not actively promoting the dog anymore, I don't want to lose the info. So I refresh it about every ten days as I understand that the classifieds fall off and disappear forever over time. I have suggested that UKC create a "sticky" classification that would only stick that thread from falling off, not stick it to the top. Just stick it to the bottom and someday in the future when someone wants to know more about some obscure stud dog, if that hound was ever promoted here, that info would still be available.

ALSO HOW ABOUT ALL THE ADDS ON THE FOR SALE BOARD TALKING ABOUT OL JOE GOT A 1ST PLACE WIN LAST NIGHT.IT IS REAL COMMON ON THE OFF COLORED BOARDS.AT LEAST THE STUD DOG PEOPLE ARE SELLING SOMETHING.
