#1. get a puppy off of one of the hottest studs. the one stud that has the message board buzzing and has some dogs currently doing some winning in the hunts.

#2. now this might be most important, when you go to sell the dog, dont actually put it up for sale.
this might have you some fo you confused. the key is to start bragging the dog up about how good it is coming along in training. with each post sell us on how greatly it is progressing and how special the pup is.

3. next have some buddies come on and brag the dog up. have them post how yourpup put it on the old grand nite last night and even split treed with the meat while the other dogs were treed slick. have them make up a couple of screen names and you do the same so the hype just gets bigger and bigger.

4.pictures. you must have some pictures. doesnt matter where you take them, just as long as it is at night and the dog is barking up a tree. heck, do with a caged coon in the front yard if need be.

5. next, state the dog is not for sale

6. now state after recieving numerous inquries about buying this dog through the pm system, you have decided that the dog isnt for sale but can be bought.

7. slap an outragous overpriced tag on the dog and wait for the offers to roll in.

One guy had TB write an ad for him in the cooner to try and sell his dog.
When the mag. came the fella read the ad over and over and finally told his wife that dog was what he had been looking for his whole life, no way was he gonna sell him now.

haha I heard a simlar one to that once, guy had owned the dog orignally seen a for sale ad on the dog a few years later in a magizine and after reading the ad said it sounded like the type of dog he was looking for

I was at the _KC world hunt one year and sat and listened to TB and another guy write an ad for the books. He said remember to always put "come and hunt with him". He said the more you invite people to hunt with the dog the less they will come to hunt with the dog.

Another one is the price swings. One day one price. Next day the price went up. next back down. Then they'll post if they don't sell it off the board they'll sell it at a big hunt because the people at the hunt know coon dogs. That makes me bust a gut. Guess we don't know nothing because we're on this board. But wait, I'm also going to be at that hunt. ROFLMAO.

I like the guys who say that if someone doesn't buy it at xxxx price, they will hunt him some more and the price will go up. Get a clue yo-yo's, if nobody wanted it at a "bargain", they sure as heck ain't going to dish out some more for him 30 days from now.

My dad and some of those good boys would buy sell and trade all the time and done pretty good with it. But there was a guy in the crowd that would do what he had to to get it sold. I will never forget the words he told my dad after a guy did not like the dog, sh@t i have done told so many lies about this dog and the more i talk about him the better i like him,he is just what i been looking for i'm just going to keep him.... LMAO

also i have a 1972 amc gremlin for sale sold to me by rance 56 very very low miles he said a little ol lady from tucson drove it on sundays . its just not big enough for wife and kids the only problem with it is the speedometer is busted . my payphone number is 1 207 845 2012 and yes the price will double if i install a new gremlin decal so get it before then this car is a classic only 4000 .

I swapped for that very dog!!! First week she treed 3 coon..Treed a possum.Ran a house cat..Would hardly hunt..Made about 10 slick trees..Might have even got in a little scuffle ones..I'll be hunting her thursday night
