wat does the papper quility mater you just read it and give it away to a kid thats wat i do with all my mag,after i read them.david boggs..ps would you rather them raise the price to git better papper times chang and ukc just has to chang or raise there price so i think in a mag. cheeper is better.

I wish they would quit using the red or yellow looking pages with the stories hard to read at my old age lol. Beginning design classes tell you not to use those color schemes.

The paper quality matters because if you take the time to look at most of the pictures they look like CRAP now. It's not the same quality magazine that is use to be.

To be honest I don't spend the time reading it that I used to because with this computer I've already got the news and the pictures along with upcoming events long before the magazine gets here even if it was to be early. I browse thru a few articles and ads and I'm done. I guess I still get it cause I hate to see anything else fade away.

Hobo, I noticed the very same thing and was gonna send an email to their complaint dept but appartently they don't have a complaint dept. The one thing that really set Bloodlines apart from Cooner was the paper quality. Once you get use those glossy prints, its hard to accept less.

This web site is their complaint dept! Alot of it on here! Will give Hobo credit though. Photo quality has slipped with the new paper.Realize though that they probably did this as to not have to increase subscription rates.

it seems i have been taught that you don't mess with the quality of a product ,raise the price if you have to and the longer i live the more i believe this i have seen some companies fail while others keep growing even in a tough economy

paper is higher,it cost alot of money to get rolls of paper shipped to you,plus when you print and bind your magazine the cost is high to have it shipped out.The way to cut cost for everyone is to buy paper that is a lighter stock so the shipping want cost as much by weight. With this type of paper you will have to change your ink type,maybe a low tack ink.With the paper and ink change it will give you a dull look.All magazine companys are doing this in order to stay alive in these hard times.I work for a large printing company and we are seeing very hard times for everyone in the magazine industry.

Must be an age thing. I remember the glossy pages in the sears catalog in the old out house when I was a kid. I will take the cheap paper every time. I can see the pic's good enough. If I was paying for a big add it might bother me but I might have to go back to the out house days. So I am not going to wish for the painfull pages.......LOL
