Tracker Light -DON'T GET BLUE!!!

I bought a tracker light at the Grand American (which was unbelievably overwhelming in a good way!!). Got blue cuz I thought it was purdy. Put it on my Garmin collar and turned her loose. It was all good till I saw flashing blue lights coming thru the woods. My heart skipped a beat (or 2). I've seen those blue lights in my mirror before. My right foot has been tested positive for lead if you know what I mean I like it a lot but wish I had a different color.

got double blues on every collar......only problem I got with blue is you have to turn them off when you walking in.....that blue strobe on 2 or 3 dogs is liable to cause seizures.

me to, it saved my hound just the other night, she was trailing along a creek
and came to a bridge, I was waching her with my astro and hauld butt out to the road, when I got out there a guy had just grabed her for me , said it when he came around the curve and seen the flashing blue light he thought it was a cop and thru the beer he was drinking out the window! LOL
so yes blue works great!

Never ask a man what kind of dog he has. If he has a hound he'll tell you, if he does not, you don't want to shame him by asking.

Just about any hiound supply store has them, Nite Lite and others as well, the Nite Lite version is the EXACT same light as the Tracker one, only difference is Tracker puts theres in a rubber grommet to slip on the collar, and is $20, the Nite Lite version has metal clips for you too rivet them on collar for $15, but they are made by the same company I believe it is Egear, I mounted mine permanantly to my garmin collars, so I bought the Nite lite version!!

That's why I would get blue. People might actually slow down if they see that out on the road.

Lights

We have used them since they hit the market , but we just don't use 1 ,
We buy 2 different lights and mount them one one collar,
If you use the collar with the "D" ring , you have enough room to mount 1 on top and 1 on bottom , different collars of coarse, and then you can tell if your hound is commin toward you or going away, which works great even if you dont have a trackin system,

Once you get used to useing the lights you'll not want to turn a dog loose without one

I use Sunburst lighted collars mostly for 'yote purposes. However it is cool to see them moving around in the woods with them. I think I like the yellow the best. I don't think BLUE is an option on those although I do prefer BLUE on some things!

Use them for that reason. A drunk running down the road at 70 mph will be on the brakes when they see that. Had one dog cought by a deputy in our county. He called me when he recognized my name from doing taxidermy for them. He said he saw blue lights in the field and said what the??????

I was hunting 3 dogs last Nov. opening day with 2 blues on Saturns. Got stopped by a warden just to see. Farmers love it.
