PLEASE PRAY FOR A 9 YEAR OLD BOY COON HUNTING LAST NIGHT AT 10:10 PM 1/25/2010 HE WAS ACCIDENTLY SHOT THE NEWS REPORTS IN THE HEAD.MAY GOD LOOK OVER HIM AND HELP HIS LOVED ONES TO DEAL WITH THIS ACCIDENT. IT HAPPENED IN DELAWARE TWP MERCER COUNTY PA BELIEVED TO BE NEAR GREENVILLE,PA AND FREDONIA,PA. I BELIEVE MAJORITY OF COONHUNTERS ARE THERE OWN TYPE OF FAMILY .SO IT IS TIME WE ALL PRAY FOR THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF THIS CHILD.THANK YOU

Prayers up for the nine year old from the Robinson Family!

FREDONIA, Pa. -- A 9-year-old boy suffered a serious injury Monday night when he was shot in the head while hunting in Mercer County.
State police said the boy was raccoon hunting with his family in an area off Bower Road in Delaware Township when a rifle was discharged accidentally about 10:10 p.m.
The boy, whose name was not released, was hit in the head.
He was transported to UPMC, Greenville before being transferred to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
His condition was not available this morning, but police said he had not died.
Other details about the incident, including who fired the rifle, also were not immediately available.

According to one of the news reports 9 year old Rudy Shetler was with two of his Amish friends. The .22 was in the buggy with the boys when the dog jumped into the buggy and caused the rifle to discharge. I haven't heard an update on his condition.

For info on the boy and his family you might want to give Adam Miller a call. His family is friends with them. But, Adam did call awhile ago and said that the boy passed away. If you need Adam's number I got it.
