A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to support our 2nd annual Winter Thaw Classic!!!! The weather wasn't as nice as we hoped, but at least no more snow. We had 25 dogs enter, and there was some stiff competition. Also, a huge thank you to our bench show judge, Jackie Carpenter, who made the drive over and did an excellent job.

Thanks for asking me to judge. Anyone wanting to go to a great club with some real great people. Silver Lake, IN is the club. Had a lot of quality dogs to judge. I made new friends and saw some people that I hadn't seen in awhile. Long trip home in the fog, but it was a good day.

Had a good time at the event.It was a long ride for me and I should not have made the trip so soon after my surgry, but all is good now..And everyone is correct there was some top dogs at this event..This is a very good club with a good group of hard workers.I will try and make it next year.How many events do you hold each year and what are the dates?

Joe, glad you made it down and back home safely.

We have 7 UKC events each year. I don't have a schedule handy, but I know we have one in Feb, a TW sectional in March (2 nights), one in June, a 2 night event in Aug, and one in Oct. All of those are bench show and nite hunt except the Friday night in March for the Walker sectional.

hopefully Roger or someone will be on here later with the exact dates.
