The Holmes Conservation & Beagle Club will be hosting a Benefit hunt for Bobby Alexander June 20th 2009,
There will also be an auction , 50/50 raffle, Spagetti dinner and entertainment in the evening.

Thanks to all that responded already, No need for me to let anyone know what is needed as of yet. Just grab ANYTHING & EVERYTHING you think will bring a dollar or two, I have a club member/ auctioneer that can get "money for nothin" and we WILL SELL ANYTHING LEGAL to make money for a great cause.

I'm really disapointed in you all, out of the 500+ beaglers who attended the nationals I only had ONE that thought enough about this benefit to make a donation.
And that was Mr Fred Hawkins,

When we were cleaning up and putting things away after the National we received some of the cast win thermos bottles to be split up between the benefit hunt and the youth hunt. They are excellent quality and just the right size for traveling.

Come on guys, The date for this hunt is growing nearer still need donations, I know the economy is bad but most of us can afford to donate a bag of dog food, leash & collar, or something. If all else fails PLEASE come out and support this hunt, bring the family and stay all day, supper and entertainment in the evening. Good fishing for the kids while dads running dogs so bring a pole.

OK, I need your input, I had a guy offer to donate a stud fee for his dog,
HOW WELL do you all think this would go over. I mean I don't want to except a bunch of stud fees only to have no one bid on them, So tell me what you think......Is it worth it or Not?

I am sure there will be some stuff that will only get a small bid, but hey, the reason for the auction is to raise money. I would say every little bit helps, so why not. If you dont want a bunch of stud fees, maybe say that only male dogs with a title will be excepted? Just a thought. By the way I got some more stuff donated. See Ya Sunday
