I also feel it was a very good game, how ever the pitsburg player who got the flag for punching the guy on the ground should have been kicked out of the game. jmo

I feel the same! I was really rooting for the guys in red but it was a well played game on both ends. Congrats to the Steeler's!

I also think he shoulda been kicked out of the game, that was completely uncalled for and totally unsportsman like....

Other than a few of those scuffles it was a great game.

AWESOME GAME!

We really enjoyed it even though our locals weren't there... It was GOOD football between the penalties... Agree that there should have been an ejection with unsportsmanlike conduct on that one incident....

Hope that MOST were able to stay up for the whole game... our youngest son went to bed after the 100 yard run figuring nothing more exciting could happen BUT... he missed aLOT! Poor kid....

See, I didn't feel it was a great game. The closeness of the game was due to penalities.

Come on these guys are supposed to be pro's and they were making a bunch of silly mistakes.

We used to hold our professional athletes to a higher standard. I don't think a team ought to be proud for setting a new record in penalities.

I would have to rate it as a merely a good game.

When was this???????? Babe Ruth was a drunk and womanizer, what about Mickey Mantle.

There are some exceptions but for the most part If they win America considers them Role models. Kurt Warners award before the game started should be worth more than the super bowl trophy but I didnt see it in the headlines this morning.

How come the Refs didn't look under the hood on Kurts fumble at the end of the game? I don't think it was a fumble. They should of had 1 more chance at the end zone! JMO

For those of you that think James Harrison should have been thrown out of the game watch the replay again. The filthy player opposite of him punched him in the groin on that same play. James Harrison was choked, held, and tackled the whole game. He always maintains his cool. Being punched in the groin I would have done more than he did. As always, there are two sides to every story. Get both sides before drawing any conclusions. Oh, by the way..... Rothlisberger scored earlier in the game and was called back because his knee hit the ground....his knee hit the opposing players leg and never hit the ground. We could go on and on, but, that's why they call it a GAME, just that, a GAME.

Who's crying?????!!!!!!! Last I looked it was a "W". Harrison has been mugged all year and still won the Defensive MVP. The only ones really crying the blues are the couple of Cleveland Clowns fans above. So much for being picked to win the conference... I've been following the Steelers since the late 60's when they weren't winning. Being from a Steel Town who else could I pull for? It's a shame that either team had to lose. Both are class acts coached by the same.

The official that signaled touchdown,

on Harrison's SUPPOSEDLY touchdown was out of position to make an honest call. Harrison's helmet touched the ground just inside of the endzone, but the ball touched the ground about a foot outside of the endzone, then bounced into the endzone. With no time left on the clock, the half would have ended 10 to 7.

IMO, there were several bad calls in the game. The play before the safety, the ball carrier's knee touched the ground in the endzone before the ball got completely out of the endzone. Along with the questionable calls that already have been mentioned & a few others, makes a person wonder what if?

I also think that the wrong player got the MVP award, I'm not saying that he didn't play well, it's just that several other players played better in my opinion, including Warner.

It was a GREAT GAME though.

coin toss

I thought the first mistake of the game was deferring the coin toss. This was an opportunity given to the Cardinals and they gave it back.

The play was reviewed from the booth. The on field ref only goes under the hood during a coaches challange. The last two minutes there are no coaches challanges the booth reviews what they thing needs reviewed. At least that's the way I understand it.
