SPRING!!!!!

We have not been out since late November. This weather sucks. If I could find a good job I would move to Georgia. Sure wish I had a dog in shape I'd be on my way to hunt the Winter Classic. Around hear in my opinion, May is best. Plus you dont need to skin em!!!

Fall is my favorite. I love listening to the hounds working a cornfield and getting treed. Nothing better than that.

Spring before the leaves bud. Coon are putting on the feedbag and moving all the time. If a pup won't start then, you know it's time to get the shovel.

When mama and the kittens start hitting the mullberry trees in
the spring. That's the best time, things really starting to green
up. Timber smelling all fresh, OOOHHHH can't wait!!

come on HOBO......its 15 below zero, a foot of snow on the ground and yall are makin my cabin fever even WORSE.....
i just cant wait for that spring smell in the air and the sound of my new pup running a couple tracks. the old dog bawls everytime i start the truck but i aint going out in this crap.

i guess my favorite time is early spring before the leaves come on and mid fall after most have fallen but its still nice out. and the skeeters die off.

Normally, this is my favorite time of the year, but this year we have been a bit on the bitter side.

I wish ya'all down south weren't so stingy with the warmer temperatures ... I don't want much just 7-10 days in the low 30's and nights above 20 would do me fine.

Heck, we have been sharing our colder temperatures!!!!!!

Well let's see , I favor ruttin season going on right now , if weather will permit . Then it's when the sweetcorn comes in and is actually good all the way through until the end of coon season .
Maybe i should say year around !
