Contact Joe Newlin about him. He will shoot straight with you about him. I own Jokers sister and I know she has reproduced some good ones including Joes Thorn dog. I dont think you could go wrong breeding to any of Joes stud dogs.

I own a female off JOKER , she is a nice hound 1st and 1st type dog . You can not hunt her down, is about as good about having the coon as Ive seen in 35yrs. of coon hunting . runs track with a chop and bawl, throws a bawl locate easy to call then hammers down treed. likes to get by her self, runs no trash now, had to work on that the 1st week I got her here in N.C. She handles good . She has 380+/- won PKC in limited hunting. I would breed to Joker in a second. I like the one I own . JMO Mike Cayton Timberlake Kennels

Joe , I wish we could have got the breeding done , but having 58 men working in 4 states I dont know from second to second where in the hell I might have to take off to . LOL I would Love to get my female off Louie to Joker Or Thorn Shes was the easiest pup Ive ever started and at 2yrs 8 mths a coon dog ,grand pup to Sackett, Casey top Hayes, lipper bottom. Ill buy that pup if you know anyone coming to the Grand American. Thanks Mike

I've enjoyed hunting my Joker X Powder dog. I wouldn't be afraid to try another. Gus is a show ch. He has 2 UKC 2nd's and a little PKC money.

I have hunted with a few of the Joker pups....Specifically Poker and Cube ...If you are looking for dogs with alot of heart, grit , determination to please , and VERY ACCURATE then these pups will suit you fine .......These dogs seem to have alot of hunt in them and are excellant at going hunting and knowing where to find a coon and then knowing what to do with it .......I am not a big Clover fan but will admit ( not to Joe ) that these and several other dogs out of Joker are making COONDOGS......Thanks Craig

Joe sorry to hear of Hitman passing! Looks like ole Polly is the last one left in that litter. I have not hunted her yet this season but might the next nice night, she has been acting good but i believe she won't be around a whole lot longer, i dred the day she passes as she has always been a big part in our family and had many great nights of coon hunting as well as just letting her in the building to lay on the couch while I was tinkering around!!
