Is there Still alot of George Bush fans out there?

Just wanted to know if king george has screwed evreyone over enough for people to start disliking him. I remember last year there was a bunch of heated topics about him, and it seemed there was still alot of bush fans. Shurlly by now with all the screwing over the U.S people he has done, he has lost a few followers? He will go down as the worst pres the USA has ever had. Dont want to start a war just wanted some feed back from his followers. Thanks

you know I am a republican but I can't tell the difference anymore. I believe I would rather vote for somebody that isn't affiliated with either party and just do what he says he will do. They need to start working on America's agenday and not republicans and democrats. They should be working for us not each other.

Its President Bush for me. His stand on killing murders of Americans is enough to keep my support. Be warned to all, our enemies watch and listen to our media, determining our resolve to fight. When we seem weak, they'll pounce. Lets just thank the lord above that Carter isn't still up there. If we could only find a muzzle for his diaerha mouth.

I dont consider myself a rep. or dem. But as far as the Dems. go I cant stand their programs, the ones who make life easier for the lazy and uneducated. Such as affirmitive action. Getting a job should depend on your education and abilities not your age, race, or gender.

Oh and as far as Bush I would definitly vote for him again.

Its amazing at how many people think they can do so much better than the other , when they have never walked a mile in that persons shoes. I stand behind my president 100%. I may not like everything he does but I am not perfect either.

The following is ascribed to Jay Leno:

WORTH THE READING AND THOUGHT TIME.

Jay Leno wrote this; it's the Jay Leno we don't often see....

"The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?

The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the president. In essence 2/3s of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change.

So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ''What we are so unhappy about?''

Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter? Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job? Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

Maybe it is the ability to drive from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state? Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?

I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.

Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames thus saving you, your family and your belongings.

Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes , an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90 percent of teenagers own cell phones and
computers.

How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world? Maybe that is what has 67 percent of you folks unhappy.

Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S. , yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have , and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.

I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks?

The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me? Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad?

Think about it.....are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the "Media" told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful ass every day.

Make no mistake about it. The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn't have to go.

They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an ''other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable'' discharge after a few days in the brig.

So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans? Say what you want but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells , and when criticized, try to defend their actions by "justifying" them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way......Insane!

Stop buying the negativism you are fed everyday by the media. Shut off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage.

Then start being grateful for all we have as a country. There is exponentially more good than bad.

We are the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative."

"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, "Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"

Jay Leno

I voted for President Bush and would vote for him again. I voted for the Christian values and for standing up for this country and that is what he is doing. There are alot of people out there that don't support this war and that is what is wrong with this country, not the President!

I just can't understand why people have so easily forgotten what happened to us on 9/11!!

What scares me the most is that he won't be in office again next term and there might be a Democrat holding the reigns!

Just because I don't support Bush, does not mean I've forgotten 9-11. I will never forget that day. My mother was suppose to be at the pentagon that day and my neighbor was trapped inside that Hell. Thank God she made it home. Don't you dare for a second assume you know what other people remember just because they disagree with the president.

What has President Bush done to "screw" over you haters? Ya'll are like that ESPN commercial......you know the one where folks are talking out of their.........

I don't agree with everything the President does. I do like to watch him on TV, he is one funny guy. There was a time he had a backbone and stood for something. Now he is just another flip-flopper. But look at the alternative, Gore or Kerry.....thats scary. Gore could have blamed the Taliban for Global Warming. Maybe the Iraq war would be more popular if President Bush had said that Sadaam was contributing to Global Warming.......

I watched a show last night on the Nat'l Geographic Channel that made me sick to my stomache. It was called "Final Report: How Osama Bin Laden Escaped"...

...Now Nat'l Geographic is a bunch of liberal tree huggers but even they recognized HOW BADLY THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION DROPPED THE BALL on the whole Osama thing... National Geographic--the liberal entity that it is- stated how in 1998 or 99 CIA operatives on a mountainside in Afghanistan had OBL pinpointed in a remote camp. They had him dead to rights and could "paint" the camp for guided munitions or call in precision weapons to kill him. HOWEVER there was a Prince there from the United Arab Emirates who might have been killed or injured and this Prince's old man had a large order in to buy a bunch of F-16 fight jets ....fearing to lose the deal for the planes, the CLINTON WHITEHOUSE scrubbed the mission. This was after the embassy bombings in Africa and the CIA and Whitehouse had changed the status on OBL from "monitoring" him to trying to "eliminate" him, (knew he was that dangerous) yet they passed up the chance in order to sale a few fighter jets.

It wasn't the first or the last time the Billary admin passed up the chance to get Osama after they knew how dangerous he was.

If Osama get bombed to particles then, and 9-11 doesn't happen or is changed in some way, are we still in Afghanistan and Iraq today? Maybe...who knows.

Back to the original question. I am not pleased with everything Bush has done, but I remain convinced he was he best choice availible and would vote for him again if given the same choices on the ballot.

However like somebody else pointed out....I'm just sick to death of the party politics and the crap that goes on in D.C. The R's and the D's are all members of the same ol rich boys country club set and will just about always do what their party handlers tell them to do and vote how they are told to vote by the lobbyists with the most money and pull within their party.

The times we live in are bigger than any one President.

I don't agree with everything Bush has done. But the question in my mind, is "how should he have done it better?" Nobody, especially the Democrats, have that answer.

All I know is that alot of Americans lost their lives on 9/11. Somebody's gotta pay for that. While the news doesn't really point it out, they ARE paying...
