GRNT Adam's Rip, still my favorite of all time. GRNT Pandora's Stylish Box, the best i ever ever owned. GRNT Joe and NTCH Bo probably my brothers best. GRNT Bones, GRNT Hobo, GRNT Bandit, GRNT Greedo, GRNT Chopper, GRNT Hustler, local dogs that were as good as any ever born. Pac-Man is my favorite of hounds i never hunted with but would have loved to have seen in the woods. Have hunted with many other good ones but these are the ones that i would put up there as great.

As for the ones I have hunted with:

1)CH Ozarks Rebel Racket. She was a giant killer. I was never embarrassed to cut her loose in any company.

2) NTCHGRCH Robinsons English Looser. It took me over 10 years to find a replacement for Racket and hes it.

3) Duel Grand Timber Valley Queen. Only hunted with her once, she was 10 and pen stale. Still impressed the heck out of me and 1/2 a clubhouse.

4) Duel Grand Timber Valley Lucky. Only hunted with her once as a 1 year old ntch. I saw an outstanding track dog for any age.

5) GRNTCH Cabin Creek Punkin. Man what a tree dog.

6) GRNTCH Wilcox Rollin Thunder (aka Cotton) He will show you every coon your dog missed.

7) GRNTCH Maggards Stylish Jet. He showed me how he got in the final 4 of the UKC world hunt.

8) GRNTCH Hardtime Harry. Drew him at English days while spectating with Cotton. One of the most impressive dogs Ive seen all year.

9) NTCH Edmondsons Dan. I was on every cast he was ever in and hunted him hundreds of nights at home. He was absolutely the straightest dog I ever saw. When he opened, he treed a coon. We used him for a pup trainer for over a year, rigging him from the back of the truck. We kept 8 or 10 dogs a month hunting them for guys back then. Dan and his rigging made it possible to cover lots of ground and put those pups on lots of hot coon. We hunted EVERY night from dark till almost dawn for a year.

10) NTCH Osters Brendy. One of the first registered dogs I ever hunted with. She was a coondog in any company. Nick Oster gave me my first English dog 25 years ago.

DID MOST OF YOU ACTUALLY HUNT A LOT WITH THESE DOGS OR DID YOU DRAW THEM IN A NITE HUNT AND GET BEAT BY THEM OR BOTH ? IF SO DO YOU THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND HAD YOU GOT TO REALLY KNOW THAT FAMOUS HOUND ?

i have hunted with slammer many times he is a nice dog and will get deep but any time you are interesed you can come for a hunt with chizel and see him go and do make sure you bring slammer i would like to see him again he is a pleasure to hunt
