Lead

The best dog I ever owned was off Lead and Satin . I'd like to get some of his blood as close up as possible. Anybody know where I could get some of this I'd appreciate any info.

Rankins Lead

I have a young male that has Lead a ways back both top and bottom, Check out chisum-trail.com and under litter's click on 2007 look for Jimbo, I ain't no breeder but I "might" try a litter just because I want a pup from the two hounds I have, Tiny and Chawn would know best where and what you might want to breed too or buy from, hope this helps, later, John.

HIGH SCORING DOG @ TREEING WALKER SECTIONAL HANDLED BY ALLEN G.

GrNCh GrCh Chisum-Trail Rebel Demon was from the 2nd cross of Arlis x Jessie, so that put Lead 4 times in 4-gens. Rebel is the only living dog from this cross, that we know of. Most were killed running bear.
Rebel was only bred twice and only 4 of his pups are alive. Two sons are in Utah, one is in Ohio and his only daughter is here in California.

NCh GrCh Chisum-Trail Bad Azz Boone was from an outcross sire (big blue/gascon on top and a lot of Brush Creek on the bottom) and a sister to Rebel. We raised one litter from him, neutered him, and sold him to someone in OH. He has no living littermates.

NCh Ch Chisum-Trail Little Wild Thing ("Taz") was bred by David Priest in Arkansas. She was a Lead great granddaughter on the top and Wilmoth bred on the bottom, going back to Lead in the 4th gen. We raised 2 litters from her and she's now in Iowa.

GrCh Chisum-Trail Mr Big is a son of Boone (above) and his mother came from Ohio and was a granddaughter to Taz's mother.
A brother and sister went to southern California. Haven't heard anything about the sister, but the brother is a real nice bear dog. Don't know of any other living littermates.
