I used Valbazen in the past but won't anymore. There are too many good wormers out there that are just as economical without the rumored side effects. I'm no vet but maybe Ahallada will chime in on this subject, he is a vet I believe. I remember him posting something to the effect of Valbazen causing bone deteriation or something like that.
I think any of the horse wormers with Pyrantel Pamoate in them are the same ingredients as Nemex and Strongid. Both are extremely safe and very effective on all worms but tapes and whips if my memory serves me right. Oh yeah, and you'll need to continue with Ivomec monthly for heartworm prevention.

Same here.
Fenbendazole serves me just as well and is labled for dogs.

Not safe, not recommended. Can lead to severe bone marrow supression in dogs. It is rarely used in veterinary medicine today except for rare instances of lung worm resistance or giardia resistant cases. It is also not proven effective against round or hookworms.

Stick with the more proven and safer wormers for dogs that we discussed in the wormer thread.
