Pictures of home made summer boxes

I would love to see those home-made dox boxes. Down here in the hot humid South... I need an open style box. I know I could buy one but then I would not have gas money. Give me some input. Anyone make a box out of welded wire fence or chain link?

Post some pics

Thanks

I don't have a pic with me of my box but it was made from some recycled aluminium slats. very lite and open.
I've seen a lot of folks in the summer simply mount a chain across the back of the truck with 3-4 quick connect clips to keep their dogs in.

I made one out of 1" PVC pipe. Made it in panels ---sides , front back and center divider then drilled holes and put it together with 5/16 x ? long bolts. Used chain link fence pieces and put it on using the chain link hardware just like a dog kennel and then a piece of 1/4" lauan on the top & bottom. Pipe was glued together using elbows & tees . I used it in a Chevy Avalanche I had and it worked good. Decent weather I took 1 panel out for air and sometimes when it was to hot or cold I closed it up and put the back seat mid-gate down.
