The snow has been way too deep to do much with the hounds as of late. Ran a 400 yard drag with a coonhide for my old GRNTCH and my Yadkin River bitch just to blow the dust off and get'em some exercise. Sugar trees just like you see her in the picture, stand on the wood, chop mouth, 100+ barks/minute. Pretty as they come!

this is Yadkin River Leroy he 11mths old and coming on strong hope to have him ready for the hunts by summer if all goes well and the Good Lord willin Nitro top and bottom Sackett jr 4times and lots of Rattler Jeff Chowder and Champ some Bone and Lipper blood as well

By the way we bought Dixie off of Billie Joe year before last out of Hollywood. Had her for less than a week and she got killed while out hunting. I had bought her to breed with Blaster at the time. It was heartbreaking.

Uncle Bill gave Dixie and her sister to my boys when they were pups. I gave her back to Uncle Bill and kept the other one. She is in the picture with Hollywood. I had a barn fire and she died in the fire. I REALLY wished that when I had Hollywood here right before he died I would have gotten him collected.

Yes I had saved up at the time to buy Dixie. She was beautiful and bred just the way I wanted her to be. We had been so excited to have gotten her to breed with Blaster and Cub. I did not go hunting that night because I wasn't feeling well so Jonny took her out. She apparently got out on the logging road coming back to the truck and somebody must have been running the roads and they hit her. Left her laying there. Jonny was so sick when he found her and dreaded having to call me. He brought her home so we could bury her in the cemetery.

Blaster is retired and is a full litter mate to Crystal's mom Edd's White Oak Bonnie. He is no longer producing. We breed our female Ann to full litter mate brother Edd's White Oak Blaster. We kept two male pups out of that cross.

I saw a pic of Blossom that Chris had put up on his website when is was up and running. I would love to see some other pictures of her. I am sorry you lost her.

I use www.tinypic.com. I browse for my picture on my computer and change the default selection to message board and hit upload. Once the picture uploads I highlight the IMG Code and cut and paste the link into the thread.

Yadkin River Blaster
This is the last picture I have of old Blaster from last year. He is retired now and has Cushings Disease.



This is his brother Edds White Oak Blaster. He passed away last year. We breed our female to him in 2009 since Blaster was sterile. We kept two males out of the litter and they have super mouths and lots of track. Very pleased with them.
