Clover bred studs

I am looking to make a cross in the near future on a gyp that we have raised most of her pedigree . My brother and I have raised her mother , father and great grandmother, and spent alot of time huntnf with the grandmother . These hounds have always been very strong headed like to be alone with awsome mouths and accurate. She is the only one never competition hunted. She has jinx top and bottom and banjo plus mundar. I havnt been hitting the hunts for a couple years so what whitey bred studs are out there also thought about hellbilly I rasied one off of moose a couple years ago that was as accurate as I have ever walked behind . thanks for reading

It's been a few years since I really pushed a stud dog, and I'm pretty sure I have not one, but two here that would suit just about anyone

Stylish Thorn.

He has proven himself in the woods, and is now beginning to really start "showing his stuff" in the stud pen. Thorn is producing early starting pups that tree real live coon. He is sired by one of the top reproducing sires in the country, and is from a whole family of coon dogs.

Thorn has treed coon from about as far north as you can get, and all the way to southern Alabama, from Pennsylvania to Missouri. He has about as many titles on him as any man's dog.

Double clover bred, double lipper bred. Happy to provide references on his pups, and a laundry list of folks that have hunted with Thorn....

I've paid him up in the performance program for 2010 and if I breed 4 outside females in the first part of the year, will pay him up in the Super Stakes.

Stud fee....$300.00 He may not be the "popular flavor of the month", but he's putting coon treeing pups on the ground!

Love em or hate em....they tree coon.

I've waited to offer this dog at public stud...and now it's time to make the move. I will be happy to provide references on Cube. He's not perfect by any means, but he will do his best to tree you a coon.

There is a long list of coon treeing dogs in his pedigree. Pedigrees dont tree coon, but only lend themselves to ability. Cube is from several families of coon dogs. I've hunted his father, his mother, his brothers, his sisters, his aunts and his uncles.

I will be hunting one of his pups this spring, and that pup is already showing me what I want to see out of a young dog.

It's time to offer another choice to folks wanting some good old fashioned coon dog in their kennel.

don't overlook Riverbend Style in Indiana. I started and sold a pup last year off him and a clover/sackett Jr. bred female that was extra nice. He started early, bawl on track chop on tree with a huge locate and was just a great acting pup. I'd have kept him but he learned to squeal over the barking collar and could squeal louder than most hounds could bark and the neighbor called the cops on me so he had to go.

Style is directly off Stylish Clover and a Riverbend Flag bred bitch.

It is indeed the same Thorn.

I don't have any pups out of him right now. I know where there are a couple of older ones, not sure if they can be bought or not....but if you are truly interested, let me know and I'll track em down.

Look under the thread Alabama's Newest Stud. Its Nite Ch Conerager's Deuce (Gus). His grandfather is Stylish Clover and he was bred to Rock River Lady to produce Conerager. He is a 2011 performance sire. Thanks for reading.

So Ben....have you been hunting with Thorn? Are you saying he isn't a coon dog?

UKC Grand Night Champion and proven he can do it alone...HTX (one of the first dogs to earn this title), PKC Champion in VERY few hunts....AKC Supreme Grand Night Champion.

He has been in the top 16 of a world hunt, and the final four of a national hunt. He's won with me hunting him, and with several others hunting him.

I've hunted him for everyone that has ever asked to see him go...and I've had him on National TV for all to see..... He has NEVER, not one night ever been perfect....but he's sure proven that he has what it takes to tree coon, alone or in competition.

Now I've never been hunting with your dog...so I cant say that he is better or worse. Hes a broke down ole dog now....but I would ask that you leave my dogs name OUT OF YOUR STUD DOG ADD until you are sure enough of yourself to put your name on your add.....

I dont' know much but I've fooled with Whitey dogs as long if not longer than anyone who's posted on this thread.

I have two pups, one a frozen semen pup off of Hardwood Patch, the other a pup out of a female I sold at the SS several years ago that goes back to my old Jinx thru Trick. If either one makes the team I will be taking them straight to Joe's house to breed to Thorn.

Its a shame. That Ben 2010 doesnt even own the GrNt Ch Pkc Ch Hardwood Crazy Gabe The dog is owend by Larry G Ross Jr or Tim Chaney of Saltrock WV. He is a nice hound and reproducer but he does not walk on water!!!!!

So if Ben 2010 is going to talk about anyones stud dog he needs to talk about the one he owens!!!!!

The thorn dog does stay at home. He's won enough that he doesn't have to prove anything. I hunted with him when he was a baby up until he was finished in the hunts and he is a coondog. He's not flashy, super fast, or super loud but I can guarantee you one thing, you better be packing a coondog because when the smoke clears more often than not he's gonna be sitting with a few more plus points than the other 3 dogs on the cast.

On a personal note, have you ever hunted with thorn? How can you say he's not a real coondog? Sounds to me like another kid who likes to run their mouth about stuff they have no clue about. Get yourself a coondog and take it to town. Then come on here and run your mouth.

What kind of traits are you looking for? Lots of Clover dogs are bawl all the way and some love that. I like a chop mouth tree dog, bawl or scream on track and LOUD. Most Clover dogs are good at havin the coon. I like some color...there are some out there that will throw some color and still give you a good dose of what the Clover dogs represent. Coondog after coondog may not give you what you want so I'd be asking about that. I'm anxious to see what Stylish Tank throws. I here he's nice and wow what a litter he came from! The Convoy dog is bred like him too and is a nice enough that Ben Crocker bought half of him back after losing Roadtrip. He's off Conerager and Ben's Flash female.
