Trackman dogs

Anyone have any info on Trackman pups...how they're turning out & what's their ability? What seems to be the best cross on Trackman?

I've got one about 2 yrs old. She can't run a track older than 5 min. Barks nonstop on track even though she isn't going anywhere. Trees great when she does find one and is a great looking dog. I've given up on her, she's only fit for a bullet. I'm not trying to bash anyone, I know there are some great dogs out of Trackman. This is the only one I've ever had, just sharing my experiences.

Only hunted with 1 till he was about 14 months old. I never saw him personally do anything, but he went on later to make NT. CH and sell for what I consider big money.....

trackman dogs

I bred my World Champion Quick to him in 2005 and I would definitely recommend the Trackman DOG. All the dogs in the litter that was hunted turned out to be above average dogs. But I don't give all the recognition to the STUD. Female genes are 60% of the breeding in my opinion.

My GRAND NITE from that litter is not for sale. Loudest female I have ever owned. I will be breeding her to my GRAND NITE Buddy dog.

I believe there are way more turning out than not. Not all dogs make it in any cross. Harry females in my opinion are crossing the best.Problem with Trackman right now is actually getting your female bred to him.I have bred to Trackman and believe he is a great stud on the right female. But I will go to Curts and rebreed to Cold Sweat the next time. His pups are turning out every bit as good if not better. With alot less hassle.Curt will bend over backwards to help a guy out.JMO

My buddy Joe has a Trackman female close to 2 years old.On a good track she looks real good,on a bad track it takes my 14 month old Bluetick to line it out and warm it up then she looks good again,The faults:she babbles on turn out.and she bogs down on an old track by herself. She's not very accurate by herself.

Trackman

I have 1 out of Trackman and Beard's Hardwood Dixie Chic and I just made him a night champion the other night I like him I bought him from Curt but I personally think a female has a lot to do with it jmo. I just got a pup off of Cold Sweat so we'll see how he turns out.

Havent been impressed with the trackman dogs that I have hunted with here in central illinois...they seem to have a lot of similar characteristics....good to above ave. mouths, good tree dogs, open on track, good locates, hot nose, some babble quite a bit, a little junky, tree monsters, and another big thing i have noticed from the ones i hunted with is they seem lazy by themselves.

Ive got a six month old male pup out of Trackman and a full sister to my Nitech female.(Stylish Jet x Rat Attack female). He has split twice and had the meat. Loud mouth, great locate, can move a track great for his age, and an outstanding tree dog. Gonna have fun with him this kill season. Plan on breeding my female to Trackman once I grand her out. Will be the same cross just different mothers. This will be the third cross from these 3 sisters all out of the same litter. It really seems to be working good for all of us down here. The guys that have them from the first 2 litters you cant buy them. The man that raised the litter has already been hunting the 2 he kept by themselves. Hes not treeing 3 to 4 coons a nite with them but for 6 months old they are something to watch.

We bred GR Nite CH GR CH Unstable Miss Mabel to Trackman and as of the last count almost all of the pups are headed to the PKC world. We have pups at all levels and Mabel is going herslf. So it was a proven cross and all the pups are just really nice coonhounds. Anne and Rachel are both of Trackman and Mabel.

I have a female off Track man and a soon to be grnite female off Stylish Tack and Rock River Sue. She just turned a year old and has been hunted very little. In the last month she has started to split and stay and is having the meat when she does. Hunted tonight in the rain and she got treed by herself but missed it by one tree. May have been one where she was but know there was one next door. I really like her.

Had a two year old ntch off Track man and a Sacket Jr. Son female that was a nice hound that was killed in his dog house during a thunder storm. Had a huge mouth on track and was a whale of a coon dog. He would pull up short if you didn't keep him hunted but when you did he could flat get it done and on hot tracks he would run them like he was tied to a train.

Trackman.............

I have a 3 yr old Trackman female, out of a Rat female, she has 2 firsts, will be a Nt.Ch. soon...........I like her alot, no babble, honest 1st strike, 1st or 2nd tree, great mouth, trees no trash, runs no junk, good about having a coon and a great tree-dog. Not perfect but I like hunting her, not a lazy bone in her, by herself or with company...............Tim

I've hunted with several enough to be able to make an impression. Even had a couple of them here at the house for several months that I hunted pretty regular.

1st one- male that Briar mentioned. Never saw him do anything of any count. Didn't like him at all.

2nd - female - did a nice job. Pretty decent all around dog, didn't hunt with her very much. Pretty independant. Not the greatest mouth, good tone, just not real loud.

3rd - male -littermate to above female. I liked him. Real good mouth, great locate. Big nose, actually ran tracks way too tough for him at first, grew into in. Should have bought that one...

4th - female - hated her. NO hunt by herself. Would run and tree just fine if you walked her across a track. Great mouth. One of the nicest locates I ever heard. Pretty pushy on the tree. Would hunt good with other dogs, then try to eat them off the tree.

so I guess I'm 50% with Trackman dogs.

The one common thing I've seen in all of them is that they didn't have muchh unt when hunted alone. Most would go a couple hundred yards (that's far enough to get struck usually) but didn't blast a hole in the dark to do it.

I wouldn't be afraid to own one.

I had a female out of trackman and I gave her away she would have nothing to do with a dead coon or a live coon. The guy I gabe her to turned around and gave het a way again the third own gave her a bullet. I wouldn't own amother trackman dog if my life depended on it. My grandpa got a free trackman male from a guy and he would run and tree bbut. Missed a lot of coon.

This is just my opion. I will stick with my rat attack dogs.

Trackman is in my opinion the most over rated stud dog ever put out to the public. I hunt pretty hard in the pkc circuit and I have hunted with no less than 25 to 30 atleast so I would think I'm pretty knowledable as to what he throws. I have only drew one that impressed me ( the No Alibi dog ) and he is off of a really nice female. Trackman is consistant on what he throws. Good looks, huge mouths, great tree dogs, and over all just stylish dogs. But if you want to put some coondog in your program I wouldn't recommend him. He has thrown some winners but you got to give credit to the quality females that are getting bred to him. But overall most of them seem to pull up short on them trees.

CH. GRNITECH EXTREME INSANE JESSIE IS OFF TRACKMAN AND HAS WON FIVE OUT SIX CAST HERE IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS. SUPER LOUD, THE ONLY THING I CAN FIND IS SHE JUST HAS TO BE HUNTED REGURLARY TO BE ACCURATE BUT THATS WITH 90% OF DOGS.. SHE DON'T OPEN ALOT ON TRACK AND THROWS A HUGE LOCATE BEFORE SETTING UP TREED. JUST GOING TO BE WHO GOT THE GOOD PUPS AND WHO GOT THE BAD AS TO WHO LIKES AND DISLIKES. SHE'S ABOUT TO GET BRED TO EXTREME INSANE X.
