Vernon and Scott Beck in Delco N.C. own the Nocturnal Overdrive dog. Kenny Abott in WVA, owns Yadkin River Cruise. I have a GrNtCh off of Overdrive I hunt. Loud squall mouth on track, a dying locate, and a loud chopmouth tree dog. If you have any questions on what Overdrive is throwing, e-mail me direct.

I have one out of Little Joe that is a dual Grand, I really like her. I got another one out of him that is really nice acting, she is beautiful, and is a fast trail dog, and a good tree dog, she still has to put it together.

Hello Sam, the dual grand has a loud kind of clear, kind of high pitched squall that goes right through you and drives some crazy, she is out of a wild casey female. The other one is out of a crow and grants harry female, not cutter. her voice isn't loud or soft, somewhere in the lower medium.

What are some of the traits in a Nailor bred dog that you don't like?

They seem to have more tree than track, but I say the best track dog is the first one to the tree.

Sam,
I work with Vernon Beck and have hunted with Overdrive and I can tell you he is one fine hound. Like all Nailor dogs I've hunted with a BIG mouth. I also think he's reproducing but is getting overlooked some which is a shame. I know they have a litter of pups right now out of him from one of the best females I've ever been to the woods with, what I like about her is she has always been straight, never run any junk that I have seen she seems to always slip off by herself and tree a coon. I hunt black and tans myself but I hunt with these guys some and I can appriciate a good dog no matter what color.

I have bred three of my top females to NOCTURNAL FIRE, with awesome results. FIRE is a nailor/bozo cross, and through LOUD, run to catch, accurant natural tree dog, and did I say LOUD. I have a female from the first cross I made on FIRE that is louder the most males. I would think hard and long before I passed him up. If he get some pup in the right hands, FIRE will be the next NAILOR. jmo

more tree than track????????

Philip how many nailor dogs have you hunted with
I have a 3 yr old nite ch. out of nailor and a hayes female who is making the best dog I have ever owned and he does it with his track power he is a good treedog but he is an exceptional track dog and I have freinds who hunt nailor bloodlines and they are all great track dogs.......
as far as bad traits ole nailor put quirks in his pups they can be moody possessive of their home mine will not let a stranger catch him but its is one of the most balanced bloodline of dog I have hunted with in sometime I like it so much that I bred my hayes Jr. female to Texas Lotto (son of nailor and dual grand lockdown queen) and plan to breed one of the females back across my male... I dont think you could ever go wrong with nailor bloodlines......

tnred, I hunted with one right out of nailor this weekend, she is quite a track dog. The first two I hunted with years ago were big and mean, I never saw any mean ones after those first two.
