Where is Clint located?

I'm really thinking about breeding my Sackett Jr. daughter to him next time she's in. It's been awhile since I've seen his pedigree. Does anyone have it to post?

I had one. He was a pretty good dog. A little slow for my liking. Big mouth but about 60 bpm on the tree. He could work what sounded like some tough tracks by himself, but with other dogs he just could move them with enough speed. I sold him to a buddy of mine that hunts him on bear and coon

i've hunted with dogs out of clint, and dogs out of don, i like most of them, but of course theres a few that werent the best. Todd Norfleet lives about 6-7 miles from me, and he hunts those 2 dogs, as well as Wrangler, and his brother Wayne has the Tommy dog.

WE'VE PLEASURE HUNTED AND DRAWN OUT WITH SAM AND JIM SEVERAL TIMES.

JIM IS A NICE HOUND. WE DREW OUT ON A CAST ONE NIGHT WITH JIM, FAITH, AND A FEMALE NAMED DOT OFF OF N. GA STYLISH SKIDDER.

ALL THESE DOGS WERE BETWEEN 11 AND 14 MONTHS OLD.

QUINCY AND I WERE IMPRESSED WITH ALL THIER PERFORMANCE.

CLINT HAS THROWN SOME DECENT AND VERY NICE HOUNDS. HE'S THROWN SOME NOT SO NICE ONES THAT WE DIDNT CARE TO MUCH FOR.

WE'VE HUNTED AGAINST A GRNTCH FEMALE OUT OF TEFLON DON SEVERAL SEVERAL TIMES. SHE'S A VERY NICE FEMALE AS WELL.

My Clint dog must be one of the "decent" ones....

I watched him as a young dog. The guy that owned him hunted with us quite a bit, and I watched him wait until the "big name" dogs would come out of a section of timber. He would then cut this young dog loose in the same timber that they had just come out of, and he would go tree coon that the other dogs either ran under, or they did not know were around..... I ended up buying him.

At the time, he had not ever been to a hunt. I started hunting him in March, and by July he was a Grand Night Chapmpion. I hunted him in PKC and AKC as well. I scored just under 10,000 plus points with him last summer in competition hunts.... Not only is he a Grand Night in UKC, but he is a Grand Night in AKC, that lacks two wins of being "supreme" grand, and is also a PKC Champion.

He is a third strike dog in about any cast, but he is off by himself most of the time, and he WILL have a coon when he looks up.

I've bred him three times. The first "test" litter was born in January and I really like what I've seen out of these pups.

A fellow from PA came here to breed to Joker, and decided instead to breed to this dog, and he has nine pups. I just had the third litter out of him a couple of days ago....

I'll show him for anyone with any thing. He won't fight with a rough dog, he will leave and go tree another. He's not perfect, does not walk on water....but he minds like a kid, and trees real live coon.

Of course, he is Clover bred on the bottom, being out of a littermate sister to my Joker dog. As much as I would like to give all the credit to the bottom side of his pedigree....I can't do that. I'm sure it makes a difference when you breed a coon dog to a coon dog!

There are piles of them around here. Some good and some bad. I have seen some do good work. The things I have noticed about them are that most have some sort of weird mouth. I mean you can pick them out easily cause it usually is different. I owned a female name Spice the McConnells finished to a grand nt ch. She started easily and had a freight train horn for a mouth. A friend of mine owns a male nt ch now that needs no help good looking and has good mouth but tight on ground and not a over powering tree dog but trees real live coons. I also hunted with the Clints Eastwood dog that they studded out alot when they were finishing him and he was a coondog. Nothing stylish but would get struck and get treed with a coon. I liked him alot. With breeding dont forget them pups will have a mother so dont blame the daddy for it all good or bad......Good Luck

Clint, he is a ONE OF A Kind Hound Ive hunted with him and Don, Both are Super Nice Hounds Todd and were hunting one we had two females treed 30 feet inside the woods both were blowdown tree dogs. Todd got Clint out of the box and sent up along the Jeep never did Clint Look over at those female he left o n a dead run stricking and treeing his own coon MOST DOGS will break there neck to get to two dogs treeing like them gips were treeing NOT CLINT he is what you can call a COONDOG!!!! and a real mouth on him there is alot of nice dogs on the ground out of both dogs they both are doing ther job in the breeding pen.

Clint is the best dog I have ever seen in the woods. He is also reproducing his likeness very consistently.

I have two Granddaughters of Cowee Creek Clint. Different sires & bottom lines. We like them both very much. We have not singled either one out yet, but they are treeing hard with the older dogs. And they are very easy on the eyes.
