Rance, I'm humble and proud of it. Thinking about writing a book on humility and putting my picture on the first thirty pages. Of course, I'm joking. I am nothing, and no one knows that better than I do.
I am not seeking recognition or confirmation from anyone. I am honest, and say what I think is right. If you knew me, you would know that. I also know jealousy does more damage than good. The only thing I've been successful at is enjoying the dogs, friends, and the outdoors. I'm not a breeder, and do not consider myself to be a good hunter. No doubt, there are those who need recognition and confirmation, and praise, just as you described, and that's what causes jealousy among hunters and breeders. I like hounds, and coonhunting, but my life is a lot, lot bigger than hounds and hunting. I appreciate your response, and see that you are very intelligent, analytical, and perceptive.
Wishing for you the best, and hope to meet you one day.
