Walkerton, IN - July 12, 2010 - Tailgate Adventures is pleased to announce that they will begin airing on The Sportsman's Channel beginning with Q4 of 2010. In response to multiple viewer requests to provide airing on cable networks, the producers of Tailgate Adventures have taken steps to secure air times on the fastest growing network related to devoted to hunting, fishing, and shooting.
"We are excited about this opportunity to bring the show to not only the satellite television market, but also a growing cable viewership as well." says Producer and host David Schmidt. "The opportunity to bring hound and tree dog hunting to not only our loyal viewers that may have cable, but to be able to introduce another whole segment of the sportsman population to the sport of hound and tree dog hunting is exciting."
TAILGATE ADVENTURES: Tailgate Adventures is a revolutionary television show, providing a unique perspective on hunting and the outdoors. For the first time; the prusuite of game with hounds and tree dogs is provided in depth coverage on a national stage. More than just another "hunting" show; it is a show that sets itself apart in many aspects. This show is not specifically about hunting; in fact many episodes do not even involve the killing of game. The pursuit of game with dogs normally leads to the game being bayed or "treed" somewhere, which leands itself to more of a "catch and release" format. Several episodes each season include the houndsmen/houndswomen bringing multiple family members and even children along. Since often times there are no animals killed, it becomes a family affiar.
