wifes first coon hunt

anybody who knows me knows my situation(i dont drive)i met my wife a couple of years ago after i had paid my debt to soiciaty.well its hard to hunt and train dogs when you ca'nt drive so.........my new wife had never hunted till last night.we went to black and tan days last weekend and she watched me judge a bench show and shes caught the "bug".i had a blast with her last night, shes only 5' 1' and just a little girl, but has more determination than a club house full of grown men.she carried her coffee cup, light, leash, and dog and fell (on her butt)down a creek bank.we got to see a coon the first dump and she got to see a little schoolin' the last dump.i'm in need of a show dog for her(black).perferably one thats open.what better partner could you get to hunt with than mama?

BIG SMILES!!!!

These posts really really warm my heart! My husband Bob and I are best friends! Onc we get the time to coonhunt it'll be together. He'll have to hold up a bit for me, and he knows it. I am only 4'11" and was pretty badly injured in my truck accident in 97 but.... he will enjoy being out there, with me SO much! When we were young and coonhunted...he Never got to go out with me! I was the "older girl" at camp... that he had a crush on .... never dreamed he'd end up with me later on! We hunted with the same guys and same dogs... but not at the same time!
SO, these posts realyy make me smile! Can't wait to get out on our first hunt together!!! I'm SO gald some of you guys do this as couples!!!!!!!!!!
Happy hunting, Heather William...wife of Bob William

Curtis,

It really really warms my heart! I love Bob so much and viceversa. A great marriage! My first, his second. His wife, Shelley died at 41, after almost 12 WONDERFUL years. I think people, esp men hesitate to talk about great marriages. I respect you guys more than many, because of your ability to share your feelings!!!! Yay!
Heather

Thank You for the compliments Heather.
The three most Precious things in my life are:
1) My Wife
2) My Dog
3) My Family

But not always in that order...I have a great marriage thought it is still young I am very much in love with my wife.
we will have been married 1(one) year on June 25th

Bigger smile!

Bob and I got married July 27 03, and it's still my biggest Wonder! I often just can't believe we are married! I still see him as the little boy with a crush on me! It's funny because he still blushes if I Mention those days!
I hope you feel the same way in 3, 10, 25, 50 years!
Wow, enjoy your life!!!! What a great way to build a marriage...SHARING the things you love!
Heather

I think Rascal Flatts song describes this best in fact it was my wife and my wedding song. "God Bless the Broken Road"
