my female is due today. she is about to pop. she seems to be in real pain and breathing hard. this is her first liter. i have raised several litters and never had one having pains like her. how long should i wait before taking her to a vet?

you might want to call you vet and ask them first. you will get a quicker response

also keep an eye on her temp. if she starts having a fever get her in quick.

took female to the vet. she had one breched. vet removed and she had seven alive and was wore out, had to leave her over night. they said they felt at least three still inside. by the way the vet said they are supposed to run a fever when they get ready to have pups. hope she has the rest tonight or they will have to take the rest. thanks for the replys
