I have the Garmin Etrex Venture and get along great with it. Sometimes in thick cover it can be difficult to hold a signal though. Worth its weight in gold though when you are in unfamiliar territory or with a guide that couldn't find his way out of a paper sack.

A buddy has a garmin rhino and it held a pretty good signal in some thick woods down in SC. also like the fact that its a walkie talkie as well.

I just bought a Garmin GPSMAP 60. My third GPS and the first one I've had that would work under thick leaf cover. It works as good in the timber under heavy leaf cover as it does in the open. $232.00 off Ebay delivered.

I think I gave $130 for mine and that was several years ago.

Jimbo, you do any good Saturday night @ the Toyota hunt?
