I have a young mt cur female I am going to put up for sale. I wanted her for coon hunting but she does not hunt as wide as I prefer. Hunts out about 100 yards and checks back in. Haven't tried her on squirrels but took her shed hunting and watched her wind and went over and treed real hard on a den tree. So she might make a squirrel dog. Just wanted to mention a few more things about this little female. She was in on probably 30 coon kills last winter when she was 9 or 10 months old. She was at every tree and trees good. Grabs a coon with no fear. She has been bit hard quite a few times and jumps right back in. She has never seen a squirrel as far as I know but I think she would tree the first one she saw going up a tree. The dogs we hunt get out 300 plus yards. She has treed a couple possums at around 70 yards and I had to go to her and lead her off. The only reason she is for sale is she just isn't hunting hard enough for my liking. Thanks for reading.
