Anyone who has attended competition hunts at the Monticello and Logansport Indiana Clubs knew Keith. He dedicated a HUGE portion of his life to these Clubs and to the Sport that he dearly loved. He will be missed by many!

Keith E. Luse,54, of Monticello, Indiana, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 6:38 p.m. in the I.U. Arnett Hospital of Lafayette, Indiana with his family standing by his side, as he gave the ultimate sacrifice and donated his viable organs to others.



Keith was born on Monday, June 16, 1969, in Monticello, Indiana, to Vernon D. "Pinky" Luse and Elizabeth "Beth" Martin Luse.

Keith was a 1987 graduate of the Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana. He drove truck for Prairie Farms Dairy, Rose Acres, and Waste Management. Keith then went to driving a dump truck for last several years he was able. Keith loved to go fishing and hunting. His biggest passion was for Coon hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Keith was a member of Cass County Coon Hunters Club of Logansport, Indiana and Prairie Timbers Coon Hunting Club of Monticello, Indiana. He loved being ornery, stirring the pot, and getting everyone riled up. Keith wasn't afraid to speak his mind and he most definitely never knew a stranger.

Keith is survived by his children, Courtney Luse, Dustin Luse, both of Monticello, Indiana, Byrce (companion Lei'ala Pua Murphy) Luse of Kokomo, Indiana, and Bradley Reynolds of Monticello, Indiana; brother, Kevin (wife Teresa) Luse of West Lafayette, Indiana; sister, Kathy (husband John) Dishon of Monticello, Indiana; mom, Elizabeth "Beth" Luse of Monticello, Indiana; uncle, Gerry Martin of Monticello, Indiana; aunt, Phyllis Maze of Lafayette, Indiana; cousins, Lenora Maze, Suzy Maze, Becky Maze, and Margie Maze; nieces, Kelsey Spille, Destiney Jackson, Faith Clugston; nephews, Jorey Luse, Devan Snowberger, and Teagan Snowberger; extra brother, Robert "Junior" Polly; and tons of special friends.

Keith is preceded in death by his father, Vernon D. "Pinky" Luse; and uncle, Jerry Maze; coon dog, Sledge.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. at Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

Celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, with Elder Jay Janke officiating.

Private family burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery of rural Monticello, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home, or can be mailed to 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana 47960 C/O Luse Family
