Dans makes a chap that is the thickest on the market that is called a true snake chap..Most of us sale chaps that are snake protectors but not called snake proof..Question I would ask though why put a snake chap on a non insulated boot that a snake could probably bite thru Insulated quatros, new insulated bekinas, kamiks and some other boots offer much more protection..Probably the least amount of protection on the market is any Lacrosse product also where you hunt.
Good luck and safe Hunting!

John ,
I sure dont want to find out BUT i honestly dont see a cottonmouth or a copperhead getting through these last chaps ( garnett) I got from you.
A Big Rattler may be a different story??
These Garnett chaps are hands down the best ive had yet .
Thanks for a great product !

Thanks a bunch..We have some good luck with our chaps..Had a few hiccups with inferior liners over the years ..We are chapping mostly bekinas these days as most boots we have handled just are not what I wanted to put our chap on..Its a american made boot called Kamik that have held up fairly decent, the insulated bekinas I still think will go down as the toughest boot we can get our hands on and the non insulated bekina has stood the test of time.
