thermal agam 25

I put a post on social media the other day askiing for thermal recommendations.

the agm 25 was the overwhelming recommendation.. went hunting with a friend last night who has one and he allowed me to put it to use..

we made 11 trees between two dogs, 8 coons, one slick a maybe and a sure enough den.

the maybe was a huge oak, could have been a den or a laid up coon in a crotch we could not have seen with the thermal.. No eyes however

The slick would have been a circle tree in a hunt, but with the thermal we could see every limb (tall, wide, wild cherry tree)

The den was easy, leaning blow down right into a big hollow hard maple.

of the 8 coons seen, 6 were no problem to find with the naked eye..

Two would have been impossible without the thermal.. Had to move around on the two we finally found, but found they were. Plain as day thru the viewfinder.. One we could find in the light after we found with the thermal and could have scored.. The other we just couldn't get a light up through..

Coon was there, we could see him plain in the unit..

I"m ordering one today.. cool piece of technology..

fwiw..

My hunting buddy has a thermal. When I hunt alone I miss his thermal more than I miss him. LOL

Well, his dog too, but I didn't want to talk about that.

LOL - now that is funny..

Technology has changed how we hunt.. It's incredible what we have seen change in the last 30-35 years..

I remember thinking the beep, beep was the greatest thing ever.
