Batteries Question :

I'm replacing batteries in my dc40's . I have found them in 2200mah up to 3400mah . What are the pros and cons of these two sizes other than miliamp hours? Are there certain brands that out perform others ? I've read that replacement batteries are not made to outperform the orginial batteries and very seldom last as long as the orginials . To bad that Garmin has declared dc40's obselete and no longer carries parts . Oh, how I long for the days of tritronics .

.

I would probably pull an older battery out of your dc40 and match the MA as close as possible.
