Please pm me, I have found a heritage pistol called the Cowboy that has a built in scope mount and a threaded barrel that you might like. They are new on the market. Dave

The pistol is called the Tactical Cowboy Heritage Arms. Tom, guns.com has these for sale at 190.00 and free shipping to your local firearms dealer. I paid 199.00 at my local dealer, this is a good deal. They accept the 22 magnum cylinder just like all Heritage pistols. Dave

Thanks Dave, I looked them up. May just have to have one. I got a laser dot on my regular Heritage but this is a neat gun.

Tom, you are most welcome, I remembered that you had one fixed with a laser, but thought that you would like this new setup. You can use this new gun without any optics as it has a see through the mount are sight. I really like the red fire sight front sight, but will put some kind of optic on mine. Happy hunting. Dave

Dave if you put a red dot on it will you be able to sight under it with the regular sights? Only thing I don't like about mine is that I can't use the sights now.

Tom, I am not sure as I have not mounted anything on mine yet. Sorry I can not be more specific. Dave

Tom, I looked closely at my pistol and I do think that you can see the front sight even with a red dot mounted. The gun has a see through sight milled into the scope mount, which is neat. Dave

Yes Sir. You can. I have found out that at our age, we can justify most anything we want, we are not getting any younger and life is to short not to indulge in the toys that make us happy. Living s Christian life prepares us for Heaven, but we still have our worldly wants and if they are not sinful, I say we deserve them. I think you would really enjoy this pistol, especially if you like the old model. I even bought the 16 inch model with fire sights front and rear, it's shoots like a rifle. Buy yourself the Cowboy tactical model and enjoy it. I would buy you one myself if we lived closer. Dave
