Fixing chaps - glue to boots

Okay so I’ve got the Dans chest waders/bibs. 2 pairs, blown out boots now on each. Was going to cut the liner off the old boots and glue to new boots. As well as see if I could do the same with an old pair of yoder/mucks.

What do guys use for glue/bond/adhesive?

I’m in Canada and sending boots back and forth for repairs is costly. I can get rubber boots through work cheap.

I can see how this happens. The pressure on the glue seam from the bibs over your shoulders has to be a ton...especially if your walking over things or up and down hills.

Best system I've found is a pair of froglegs with a pair of briar proof bibs cut off at the knees over them. It's great. Nothing falls down your boots, you have the pockets bibs provide, they aren't connected to the boots to that stress on the boot seam doesn't exist and you get the upper body briar protection. I wear a dans button up shirt under the bibs and throw a coat over it if it's cold....totally underutilized piece of equipment imo.
