heat cycle

ive got a 3 1/2 year female, its been 1 1/2 since her last heat cycle!? any thoughts?

If she’s healthy—

I wouldn’t worry about it. Different breeds and sizes affect the cycle

I got one that’s going on almost 2 years sense her last litter and one that’s 13 months old and hasn’t came in yet.

What is the dog food you are feeding?

I have had that problem here with the females coming in heat…years ago it was 6 or 8 month cycles…

I could be wrong but I started mixing the cheaper purina dog chow with the higher quality dog food and she came in and had 11 healthy pups 2 days ago… others believe as I do…using purina dog chow…the 21 percent protein blend by itself will probably work best…

Cycle

Got one here that is 5 and never ran a full cycle to my knowledge. Anything one can do to make them cycle?
