Who or what dog have you hunted with still alive that is capable of locating and treeing every coon in the litter

I’ve got one now and it can be annoying at times. He knows there are other coons in the area and he knows they have ran together so he will do a lot of tree tapping and checking before he finally decides which one to tree. He is also still young just turning 2 so maybe with age he will get better about just locking down. He will wheel around and go and tree the next one 25’ away too if you let him.

He isn't alive today but I had one that my buddies called the census taker. He would go from tree to tree and count every coon in a patch of woods.

Not sure if they came from the same litter but in the Late 80s out of southhampton coon club a black dog treed three coons while we walked to our dogs beating and banging in a swamp..Not even sure if ours ran a coon to get where they were These coons were 75 feet apart or so..We kept scoring her cause ours couldnt get treed
