My dogs along with many others ate the same feed off the same skid as yours and are fine, along with many others that have been on Valu-Pak every day for over a year now. You really think 1 bag of feed will do enough kidney or liver damage to kill a dog? You probably need to look at what you were feeding for 6 years up to that point.

I have been feeding the Black bag 28/20 for over a year with no problems. I have 1 male dog that no matter what I feed him in the winter looks terrible. I have a littermate sister to him that won't lose weight on it, she gains weight. I have a few others that look slim and trim just like they should. Dogs are like us, some people can eat snickers and Mt.Dew all day and never gain an ounce, some can gain a pound eating the same thing 1 time a day. Metabolism is the key and everyone's is different and same goes in dogs. I've feed just about everything out there and Valu-Pak works best all around for my dogs.
