Automatic thyroid pill machines.

. Looking for a machine that will pop out a thyroid pill at specific times. I’ve been told you can use stuff for fish that have a timer on it but I wasn’t sure exactly how to do that.

Thanks Zach

Zach, do you really think the dog would take a pill without the owners help? I take thyroid meds every morning, it does not taste yummy to me and I suspect no dog would eat without owner giving the pill to them. At most you should only have to give a dog a pill 2 times a day, what's the deal? Dave

My understanding is that they are placed in pill pockets and the dog eats them as soon as they drop

Yeah. I heard they make machines where a pill is in a treat and it drops at set times. I prefer giving the pill myself but sometimes I’m unable to be available every 12 hours.

Dave, you should look into this. You're eating original and dogs are getting bacon flavored.

.

If you want to see what some are using. Google up automatic cat feeder. You can get then with a six day feedings. All they are are a round device with sections and each day It automatically rotates one section into the circle that the top is cut out on. I have heard some designing them so they can have the pill fallout and down a tube each day. Any someone mentioned PILL POCKETS. I use them whenever one of my Yorkies need some medicine and also on my hours. They work pretty good. My dogs like the Peanut Butter ones. LOL

Here is one style
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GEWHN...677950732633101

The problem is with not securing them down or setting them up high and hooking up a drop type. The dogs will dig them apart to get the treats out.
