This week on CARNIVORE, I will be looking back over 25 years when we released the "how to" video, CALLING ALL VARMINTS". I must admit that I had a pretty good laugh when I saw a lighter weight 40 year old Gary Roberson wearing the tall crown caps and oversized glasses that were popular in those days.
Ironically, much of this video was shot with the original COMPUCALLER, the first digital electronic caller ever produced and now, 25 years later we are about to introduce the first ever ultrasonic caller.

I saw this back first of the week. Good show. Looked like foxes were your main target along with several coons. Back about 20 years before this program was filmed I called up several grey foxes with a squeaker out of my sisters babydoll. Worked pretty good but p.o.ed my baby sister.

Some of the calls I built as a kid were from squeakers that I robbed from dolls and then I found a company where you could order just the squeakers. They will dang sure call a critter and if you mounted them in a tube could get pretty good directional volume.
