Videos on training and improving hounds.

Seems like everyone has a video or book on how to train or improve a hound. I don't see anyway you can give someone instructions when they don't have a clue to purpose and level the man wants the dog trained.

A comp hunter is not going to waste two years on a dog to get it to stay at a tree. A pleasure hunter is not going to waste energy traveling two miles to a dog that passed several coon. I think we need some videos on training the hunter. Teaching the hunter to understand the difference in hounds. Then one quick video on finding a comfortable home for the dog wasting their time. You are not going to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Bruce: I like your thought!

BUT! All hunting area is different thru out the country. So match me up on pleasure hunting in patch woods. I'm 67 and good health(??) I don't want to walk 2mile to a treed dog when I know they passed many. I want my dogs (4) to hunt 300 to 500 yards and check back. This will cover 75% of my permittable hunting area. I want to decide where to go to next not the dogs.
Now I know All the comp hunters are laughing at this. But this is how I enjoy MY SPORT!

Bruce let me know when the videos are ready and how to order. Cause I'm never to old to learn or improve!

Tar: I have plenty of time to watch good coonhunting videos. What you talken bout? LoL!
