"Buzz" H.C. Anderson

Nt Ch Bigcreek Jim

Hello Guthrie....Bigcreek Jim was a gifted sire for my hounds. His cross with Gaither's Tina shows up several times in my hounds, as does another cross with Wilt's Fannie. His mating with Tina produced Gaither's Chalkeye----a good one who sired my True Boy IV. Ole Jim wasn't used that much as a sire, but seems like he got some good ones out of every cross I'm familiar with. Thanks.

Guy

Bigcreek Jim Photo

Hello M.S. Guthrie...I do have a nice photo of Bigcreek Jim. If you will send me (via e-mail) your e-mail address I'll jpg. it to you. My e-mail address is guy.g.ormiston@gmail.com. The UKC method to put photos on this forum is too complicated for me.

Wilt's Fannie I believe belonged to Leroy Wilt. She was sired by Smokey River Diamond Jim and whelped by Mays' Lady.

Buzz Anderson is a 2020 BBCHA Hall of Fame Inductee. I have put together an in-depth bio on Buzz, that will appear in the upcoming 2020 BBCHA Historical Blue Book. It covers several stories about Buzz. One is how he came to buy Bigcreek Jim! Also tells how he became enthralled with the Mountain Music line and stayed with it for about 60 years; that story and about 30+ more articles on Bluetick history will be included. Each 2020 BBCHA member will get a copy of the 2020 Historical BBCHA Blue Book in their mail box early next year.

Pay your 2020 BBCHA dues, you'll love this upcoming Blue Book. Be sure it's BBCHA. Thanks.

Guy
