Joe was a long term member of the Spring River CHA and MOH. He was a fixture behind the MOH table around here for decades that many did their apprenticeship under. He lost a long battle with cancer Thursday after putting up one heck of a fight for years. You will always be remembered with a smile RIP old friend,

I did not know JOE, but if Jen Cummings thought highly of him, that's good enough for me. Good men are missed just like good dogs, they do not live long enough. My condolences to his family and friends. Dave

Joe enjoyed his hounds back in time. He spent the last few years envolved in coon hunting as a MOH. RIP Joe.

The first hunt I can remember walking along on was with dad and Joe I was probably 7 or 8. I believe it was actually a sanctioned hunt but when they treed a monster bobcat right off the rd they let me run back to the truck and grab the 22 and knock it out. Jack Jones dog treed it so he took it home and has it full body mounted in his house.
