Loss of a good one.

It was a pretty sad day for us here at Morgan Branch Kennels. My daughter Bailey lost her Dl. Gr Boss dog Fri night. 11 yrs old and was still making coon treeing look easy, but died peacefully in his sleep Fri night. I have said it many times and will stand by it today Ol' Boss was still the nicest blue dog I have ever seen go. Night in, night out he proved he could hang with the best of them with a young lady behind him. Rest easy old boy.

Sorry for your loss. I hunted with Boss several times and he was a real coondog. Give Bailey a hug for me and tell her I'm sorry. This was a hound hat should have been breed more and sure wished that my gyp would have taken to him.

Hate to hear it Mark.

You and Bailey have some great memories and got to spend some quality time with one another because of Boss. I’m sure in turn Boss enjoyed the timber time with both of you.

BOSS

Tell Bailey, we're sorry to hear about her loss. The good ones never last long enough. Madi is going to feel bad when ole Anne passes after the fun she has had with her. Take care, Ron.

Thank you all, from Bailey and myself It was a tough loss but every cloud has a silver lining. Ol Boss pulled off one last accomplishment, as we were standing over his grave we made plans. I am so happy to say that Bails will be attending the Winter Classic with me this year. It's her first comp hunt since Bluetick days in '18 when her pup out of Boss came up missing. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find her a good blue dog to push in the hunts yet and the ones I have are still to young yet, so she will be packing her brothers dual Gr Black & Tan.. The color is irrelevant at this point, I am just so glad to have her back in the woods and at the hunts with me. Wish us all luck and we will see y'all there.
