Milk Replacer

Got one that I feed non stop and he still seems a little thin he’s 15 months old. I have tried a few foods but he is doing better with Black Value Pak. Should I try dusting his food with milk replacer? I have tried this before pups seem to do better than older dogs seems like they get the runs bad and was a little blood in the stool on some Dogs. Do y’all recommend milk replacer for pups or young dogs or even grown dogs?

Any advice would help or any stories on how you used milk replacer and either liked or disliked the results
Thanks

Dog

Sir,I always start with the basics when I have one that's hard to keep,am I absolutely sure I don't have a internal parasite prob? Is my feed doing its job? Not all dogs prosper on the same feed and maintain a good weight, is he next to a kennel mate that acts aggressive at feeding time? In a pen or on a chain?am I feeding this dog enough? When all else fails, I take him to my trusted vet, good luck with your young dog ,and keep us posted .....and Merry Christmas!

I would feed twice a day with a tablespoon of bacon grease a day or some sort of left over cooking oil...
In the winter dog food consumption goes up the colder it gets...

Replacer

I use 30/20 replacer in the winter as a top dress and or mix w water... Dont buy the medicated stuff and feed the reg purina green bag...
Normally if a dog has loose stool ya got worms, the feed is subpar ingredients, or ya are over feeding. (Or all the above)
