I have received several calls on this ad. We appreciate the response. Most call asking questions about him. His name is Blewett’s Whiteoak Mater. My kids named him. Some of the guys call just to visit and that is fine to. I am not short on the gift of gab and enjoy the conversations. Mater came out of the first cross ever made on Sting. From what I hear quite possibly the best cross on him. I personally have hunted with five of them. They are the right kind. The Sting dog was an outstanding hound. He could tree any kind of coon. Cold track, hot track, layup, etc. it did not matter. He hunted hard and when he treed you could cock your gun. Queen was a powerful treedog in any mans catagory. She is one of the top three hardest treedogs I personally have ever heard. She had an outstandingly loud mouth and hunted hard. I never hunted with her mother but have had four people tell me she was a top dog and they did not own her. Mater comes from top dogs on both sides and top reproducers. Mater is not titled. Never will be. That’s not his fault it’s mine. When he needed campaigned I was busy with my kids activities. They are only young once and have not and will not miss that stuff for a dog. But to be quite honest I don’t need a title to judge what kind he is. He suits me and that is what matters.
