I was looking through a coonhound magazine from July 2006 and saw that there were 243 litters of walker pups listed in the "Pups on the Way Section." I turn to the same section in the March 2019 magazine and see 18 litters of walker pups listed in the same section. Has coon hunting shrunk this much in the last 13 years? I am shocked that competition coon hunting only needs 18 litters a month.

I might be wrong but many of the big $$$ winners don’t want to set home waiting on a stud fee.
