Never saw that coming

Out all years I been hunting saw something only for second time last night. We have club hunts 1rst and 3rd Monday each month. And several younger and new hunters come and it's good deal and fun time. But last night had young man bring his female to hunt and after a short time hunting I'm not so proudly able to say we now possibly have a litter of bluetick and black tan puppies on way. So who wants on list for a pup.lol

And as far as first time I can tell you vic's isn't a deterrent but more of a lubricant.

It's in the air

Took my Nite Ch female out of her kennel so I could clean it. She was right in full heat. My wife got home from work early and didn't know why I left the house dog in side.
So she lets her 8 month old Pit bull out. Needless to say, in a couple months we'll have Pit bull/Walkers.

Within 72 hours a vet can give a needle to abort. At least that's how it used to be.

Vet will tell you that it is better to just let them have the pups. Shot is very hard on female and isn't always effective.

If you are going to try to abort her, just spay her. It is much safer. The shot is dangerous.
Maybe she would be better off spayed tho so he would never need to worry about that and could just enjoy hunting anytime.

Plus some other side affects later on that might cause problems if you do decide to raise a liter off her..

He decide just let her have pups. But I called vet to check for him and the shot isn't even available anymore.

my female is in heat right now. I'm working outside the country right now until the end of June. I told my wfe to be on the lookout for her heat cycle before I left. Well, she came in last week. Told my wife to keep her in the pen. My wife woke up a couple days later in the morning and heard what she thought was a dog crying. She looked out the window and saw a coyote trying to get i the pen. Rob Gregory

I saw it happing so I sprayed them with the water hose and then gave the female 9 way shot. never got pups and she had a normal heat cycle the next time. I was told this would work. don't know if it was the cold water bath or the shot.
