cypress brake setum up ace

i was curious if there were any of the old timers around here that ever hunted against ace or may have hunted with him. from all of the people i have ever spoken to they all said that ace was a good dog but most of them did not want to elaborate as to how good because they were not black dog people but i could tell they seemed to be a little jealous or something when i asked them about ace so i figure that he must have been an exceptional hound. if anyone around here has any ace knowledge or old stories i would really like to hear them. thanks for any information on ace i appreciate it.

Eddie Muse is just about as honest and straight forward about Ace as anybody you'll ever talk too. He tells the good , the bad and the ugly.

I interviewed Eddie about Ace in 2010. If you want to read it, click here and scroll down through it. > https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0...1BqM0JyRHc/view

Are you talking about Hall's Gauge? He was Ace's brother and also produced Nute. If so, you can read about him here > https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0...lo5VU9YUWM/view

Billy Hall is quite a character and one of the most interesting people I talked with. Lord, if we could all hunt as hard as he did into old age.
