Breed Sectionals or Zone Hunts

Whatever happened to the local breed hunts? They used to have 15 to 20 dogs show up at the local Breed Sectional Hunts scattered across the country. Now you are lucky to have 4 or 5 dogs to show up at an all breed local hunt. What happened? Is it UKC's fault that very few dogs show up at an all breed local hunt?

I wonder if the Breed Associations getting more involved in increasing local hunt attendance as well as increasing attendance at their Major Breed Days would help.

Oh my goodness, talk about timely...just look at that ad for Walker Days. Just imagine if they put some of that effort toward local walker sectionals.
