Garmin Alpha

Okay I have a couple questions.

1. When I look at a dogs info it shows rhat the hound is, let’s say 550 yards from me, but when I go to the map it will say 780 or something way different. Is that showing the distance from him to the truck?

2. When hunting 2 hounds and both have a Tt-15 on and let’s say your on hound “A” and you want to shock dog “B”. How do you bring up the screen to toggle from one hound to the other with out pushing the Vibrate, shock, or tone buttons?

Thanks I advance.

Mike, I am not sure about the difference in distance you described in question 1.

My ALPHA is in my buddies truck and I can't remember without getting it my hand. I should be able to do that in a hour or so and will answer you then.

Bruce

Thank you.
I figured out the distance question last night. When going to the dog info screen it gives me the distance I am from the dog, then when I go to the map screen off of dog info screen it does show the distance he is from the truck in the top left corner.

I will wait on the other question from you. I can not find my manual for it.

Mike as you probably know on the map page, it will show the dogs name and you can also tell it to show distance which will appear right by the dog icon or the triangle if you have it selected.

Mike for the training question. Go to home page then SETUP then Map on the second page. Set the DASHBOARD for Training.

Now you should have the training set at the top of the page when you select the MAP you will see the dog or dogs at the top. If you want them off there just touch the map below them and the disappear. Now you will be on the map page with a back indicator on the bottom left instead of the HOME indicator. While on the map page there if you need to correct a dog hit the back button and the dogs training info will come back to the top of the page.
